Have you heard anything from Lionel lately? I haven't seen him on the blue forum, and it's been months since I've heard from him. (I understand if he's busy, but I'm just concerned about him because I care about him a lot, as you must as well.) Could you try to contact him and see if he's OK? I hope he's alright ... (Even if he's busy, just hearing that he's OK will make me feel a lot better.) Thanks. --Douglas

weel i'm using the good old wedges and side speakers... because i love the physical feeling... i love to feel the bass and kick in my stomach... i love it when i can easily get my guitar to feedback with the amp... these little things and some others make the magic of rock on stage, and i beleive ear monitor would kill that magic...

we are not using a monitor desk ... stage settings come also from the main desk, which is automated, and we always have the same monitor system and mikes... so, after few concerts, the sound on stage was set, and with only few adjustments each day, the sound is perfect for us... it happens also that we come on stage without making any soundcheck (festivals), and our sound on stage is still ok. (sorry about the english)

Are you using in-ear monitors when you perform, or do you prefer conventional stage wedges? (A lot of bands I've seen are moving to in-ear monitoring because it helps you hear what you're playing much better, and it is easier on ones' hearing.) Do you have a copy of the technical specifications from the Longtemps 2005 tour? I'd be curious to see what sort of microphones/dynamics/effects were used. --Douglas
